Edward Green Canterbury [11639]
Edward Green Canterbury was a farmer when he married Claudia May Lively in 1896. Later, while living at Dunloup, he worked as a carpenter building bridges for the railroad. In 1905 he purchased several tracts of land from the Paintsville Land Development Corporation of Mount Hope on the west side of the railroad in Paintsville (named Pax at a later date) and built a house in 1909. Edward married Claudia May Lively [2788] [MRIN: 3911], daughter of Andrew Jackson Lively [643] and Nancy Davis [2779], on 3 Mar 1896 in Fayette County, West Virginia. (Claudia May Lively [2788] was born on 10 Jun 1880 in Fayette County, West Virginia and died on 8 Jan 1965 in Beckley, Raleigh County, West Virginia.) |
