  General Notes:

A member of the Oroville Board of Education at the incorporation of the City of Oroville in 1905. There had been two previous attempts to incorporate but each effort was defeated at the election. The Board of Education, then, was considered a part of the City. Oroville eventually became the County Seat for Butte County.
