Jesse Meador was over 45 at the 1810 census and his estate was settled in Cumberland County, Virginia in 1812. He married Martha Unknown who was also over 45 in 1810. Her will was probated in Cumberland County, Virginia 27 February 1830.
Jesse saw military service under Capt Joseph Carrington in the Minute Men Service of Amelia District in Cumberland County, Virginia. He enlisted 17 October 1775.
