- Marriage: Malinda Lively [126]

General Notes:
Reverand John Seiber and Millie built their home, a mill and a church at the juncture of the Hoskins Hollow Road with the Frost Bottom Road, Anderson County. In addition, he owned much coal lands including one 5,000 acre tract on New River. John was a forceful preacher, but owning the church building may have inclined him to take liberties. In any event, he developed the habit of "dram drinking" which may have even improved his delivery, but the dram drinking developed until he was a habitual user of firewater to the extent that Millie nagged him constantly.
