  General Notes:

Dovie was sent away when she was born to live with a great Aunt, Lillian Green (Tate side) and kept a secret from her brothers and sisters until Dovie was eight years of age. Homer and Inez were too poor to care for the child. The secret was revealed when Lillian Green died. It is not clear where Dovie went after that time.
