Helen Faye Cadle [21663]

Information provided by Geneva Alice Lively Cadle, mother of Helen Faye. Information given to Donna Cadle Witt, her daughter, on January 20, 2001, shortly after her 88th birthday party (birthday January 22nd). Helen Faye lived most of one day. Mom thought she had heart trouble is why she died. Mom and Dad were living at the Cadle farm at Grassy Meadows at that time. Mom said a lot of people came to the house and they had a funeral at the house. They bought her casket at the same place they had bought Marvin Ray's casket. (The casket company past Leef's store). It was also a wooden casket. Mom can't remember how they transported the body to the cemetery, but she is sure it must have been horse and wagon. Helen was buried next to Marvin Ray in the Cadle Cemetery, on the hill behind Evert Cadle's house at Grassy Meadows, Greenbrier County, West Virginia.
