Patrick Ewing Lively [2756]
Patrick moved with his parents to Texas when he was 10 or 12 years old, about 1850. In 1862 he enlisted in Company B, Texas Squadron, John H. Morgan commanding. At the battle of Snow's Hill, Patrick Lively was wounded by a saber cut, at New Hope Station he was shot in the shin but he continued in the service until the general surrender in 1865. Patrick married Mary Matilda Sandifer [2760] [MRIN: 949] in 1868. (Mary Matilda Sandifer [2760] was born on 12 Mar 1843 in Pike County, Mississippi and died in 1931.) |
