Monroe Co. WV, Minister Returns from Will Book 9, located on Reel 56 in Virginia State Library, microfilmed from Will Book 9, pg. 4, Line 40, and appearing on image #0095 of Reel 56: Francis Meadows (signs by his mark) giving permission" of my son, Harvey (looks like Harry) E. Meadows to mary Sarah J. Boon, 21 Apr 1852. Caleb W. Allen was a witness.

Harvey E. Meadows, listed here as a son of Francis Meadows and Rhoda Roach is an educated supposition. We know that Caleb W. Allen and this Francis Meadows were neighbors but such is not "proof". It is a really good guess, don't you think?

Harvey married Sarah Jane Boone [15156] [MRIN: 11978], daughter of James N. Boone [15155] and Magdelon Cales [35299], on 21 Apr 1852 in Monroe County, (W)VA. (Sarah Jane Boone [15156] was born in 1834 in Monroe County, (W)VA and died before 1883 in Kanawha County, West Virginia.)
