  General Notes:

The North residence is outside Biggs, California. This has been home to the North's since the mid 1930's. There, they have experienced floods, raised a family, witnessed a world war and are now living a comfortable life. Floyd recalls a thriving turkey livestock industry until the floods of 1937 when hundreds, possibly thousands of turkeys swam with the flood current never to be seen again. The surrounding fields are typical of the Central Valley in California - flat, open, with miles of vista. (Tomato and rice country)
