Mr. Wilson spent 24 years in the Air Force and retired as a colonel. While in the Air Force he flew 31 missions over Germany in World War II and 15 missions on the Berlin Airlift. His last assignment in the Air Force was in the office of the Secretary of the Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
Upon his retirement from the Air Force in 1969 he was with the Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Md., as administrator of the Wilmer Eye Clinic. Later he was with the Slab Fork Coal Company.
