The church will be elaborately decorated with evergreens and the altar with candles and white gladiolas. Miss Marguerite Sillings of Charleston, will sing 'Oh Promise Me'. The bride will wear a dress of silver gray crepe romaine, trimmed in silver and blue with accessories to correspond. She will carry a shower bouquet of Columbia roses. The maid of honor and only attendant, Miss Lyle Hatcher will wear golden brown satin with beige trimmings, and a picture hat similar to that of the bride's. She will carry a bouquet of Premet Roses. The bridegrooms best man will be Mr. Robert Cunningham Hawkins, of the city, and ushers will include Messrs Elwood, Kirk and Ned Bowers, brother of the bridegroom. Tom Ragland, brother of the bride, Eugene McDonough, Harry Garvey of the city, and Pat Quarles of Logan."
